Rachael Pinkerman made it two in a row claiming victory in the INEX Legends 15-lap headliner over teammate Bobby Yonkee. Yonkee challenged Pinkerman for the lead over the final five circuits but his last gasp effort on the last lap proved fruitless as Pinkerman celebrated again in victory lane.
Dwight Dunlap continued his dominance at the Rockford Speedway in 2009 grabbing his fifth feature win of the season in the Allison Legacy division in convincing fashion, beating Brian Heaberlin for the trophy.

“Chargin” Charlie Frisch has begun to demonstrate why he has his nickname, as Frisch made another late race charge to the win, passing Joe LaMarca for the lead with three laps remaining in the Mtn Dew RoadRunner Super Summer Series 25-lap main event and holding off LaMarca’s last gasp effort for the win.
Vinny Mangiaracina was out front for most of the 15-lap Crap Scrappers Hornets swarm before Jake Vicencio took the top spot away. However, when the caution flew with three laps to go, Mangiaracina took advantage of his second chance, making the inside the place to be as he worked his way around Vicencio for the victory.
