Loves Park, IL- The sound of engines roaring around the quarter mile high banked Rockford Speedway oval will fill the springtime air for the sixty-third consecutive season on Saturday afternoon April 10, 2010. A 200 lap enduro race which saw eighty five competitors this past year, will headline the opening day festivities, with a 3pm start.

Earlier in the day, race teams will partake in an open practice session from 11am until 2:30pm in preparation for the 33rd annual Spring Classic on Sunday afternoon April 18 and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season Opener on Saturday night April 24. Open practice sessions are also slated for the 3rd, 17th and 22nd of April. A Driver Orientation Meeting has been set for Friday March 5 at Forest Hills Lodge, a Rookie meeting will begin at 6pm with a general meeting to follow at 7pm.
