Rockford, IL- Big 8 Series officials released the Official Entry Form for the upcoming 33rd annual Spring Classic at Rockford Speedway. Entry Forms will be mailed to competitors or they can be downloaded at www.big8series.com. The event, which takes place on Sunday afternoon April 18 at the paved quarter mile high banked oval in Northern Illinois will mark many firsts for the sixth year series.

Popular two wide restarts will be utilized in all Big 8 Series events, allowing the leader of the event to choose their lane with the second place contender lining up right alongside with the field alternated behind them as they fire under the green flag. In addition, the top fourteen qualifiers will now contest odd and even dashes, with the top four from each securing their starting position by their dash finish. The remainder of the top fourteen qualifiers will be lined up in positions nine through fourteen straight up based on their qualifying times.

The annual Sunday afternoon tradition will be the first event in series history to be contested on the newly designed Hoosier 800 tire which promises to provide much side by side action throughout the 58 lap main event as well as the preliminary races leading up to the finale.
