‘Bullet’ Bobby Frisch made a successful return to the high banks of the Rockford Speedway tonight, taking home the opening win to kick off Wild Wednesdays and collect the early points lead in the 2010 Mtn Dew RoadRunner Super Summer Series. Frisch held off a hard-charging Gene Marocco for the victory, his first since claiming the 2009 championship for the Mtn Dew RoadRunners, and pulled off the double, winning the National Figure 8 League feature to close out the evening.

Cory Cootware drove from the back to the front within three laps in the 12-lap INEX Bandelero main event.

Dwight Dunlap maneuvered from his back starting spot into first on the opening lap of the 15-lap Allison Legacy feature event.

The 12-lap Winged Women on Wheels headliner was all about Tracy Wallin and her return to the quarter-mile.
