All active and retired Military will be admitted free of charge this Saturday night at Rockford Speedway when they present their Military ID at the Box Office. Open wheeled excitement will highlight the night at the Illini Midget Series makes their second visit of 2012 and the Legends return to action. The scaled version of the coupes that made Rockford famous promise to put on a fantastic show under the lights. After a one week hiatus the Stars of Saturday Night, the NASCAR Stanley Steemer Late Models take center stage when Jerry Gille, Matt Berger and Jon Reynolds, Jr attempt to find their way back into victory lane. The Miller Lite American Short Trackers, RockStar Energy RoadRunners and the Sam’s Drive-In Double OH! Race will make for one great night of racing action.
Spectator Gates open at 5, qualifying begins at 5:55 with the Stateline Staffing Services Dashes going green at 7:07pm. Adult general admission tickets are just $12, students ages 12-17 are $8, kids 6-11 $5 with children ages 5 and under admitted free.

Donations such as non-carbonated drinks, books, magazines, games, non-perishable food items and more will be accepted this Saturday night July 21. These items will be sent to our armed forces overseas that continue to fight for our freedom.

MILLER LITE DOLLAR BEER NIGHT SATURDAY
This Saturday night will be the perfect night with perfect weather conditions to take advantage of our Miller Lite Dollar Beer night of the Season. Drafts of Miller Lite, Coors Light, Miller Genuine Draft, Killians and Summer Shandy are just one dollar each, all night long.

LOVES PARK POLICE VS. BUSINESSMEN GRUDGE RACE
Wednesday night July 25 marks the 43rd annual Loves Park Police vs. Businessmen Grudge Race and Demolition Derby at Rockford Speedway. A fun filled evening will see area businessmen and law enforcement officials take to the high banked oval for racing fun. The evening will conclude with a Demolition Derby and gigantic Fireworks display.

RUSTY WALLACE AT ROCKFORD’S MIDWAY VILLAGE MUSEUM
Tickets are available for “Decades of Driving,” a museum fundraising event to feature a guest appearance by Rusty Wallace, former NASCAR Sprint Cup series champion and 55-time race winner, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 26, at Midway Village Museum, 6799 Guilford Road, in Rockford, Illinois. The event is in cooperation with the Rockford Speedway with owner Jody Deery the honorary chairwoman of the one day fundraising event. In his early career, Wallace raced at the Rockford Speedway.
The festivities include a question and answer session with ESPN lead studio analyst for auto racing Rusty Wallace, a Car Show produced by Cadwell Production, a vendor area, live entertainment, beer garden, 50/50 raffle and prizes and food for purchase.
Tickets purchased in-advance online receive express check-in at the event. Admission cost is $25 general admission; $10 child/student (5-17), and $50 Priority Pit Pass which includes a Meet and Greet with Rusty Wallace, exclusive photo opportunity with Wallace, preferred parking and the Pit Pass ticket in souvenir holder. WORLD’S BIGGEST BIG TOP SHOW COMES TO ROCKFORD
The Carson & Barnes Circus comes to Rockford Speedway Friday August 17 through Sunday August 19. A total of seven performances will take place under the ‘Big Top’ which will be located on the outer edge of the Speedway property. Racing activities for August 18 are on as originally scheduled.
