A fifty lap Figure 8 race takes center stage this Saturday September 1 at Rockford Speedway. The daredevils of the speedway will crisscross one hundred times through the ‘x’ in an attempt to grab the $500 pay day. All four NASCAR divisions will also be in action as the point battles play out for the Stanley Steemer Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsman, Miller Lite American Short Trackers and RockStar Energy RoadRunners. A fan/driver water balloon toss is also planned for the Sam’s Drive-In RoadRunner Challenge.

Spectator Gates open at 5, qualifying begins at 5:55 with the first race at 7:07pm. Adult tickets are $12, students (ages 12-17) $8, kids (ages 6-11) $5 with children ages five and under are admitted free. For more information visit www.rockfordspeedway.com or call 815-633-1500.

Final Miller Lite Dollar Beer Night of 2012
This Saturday night marks the final Miller Lite Dollar Beer Night of the 2012 Season, what a great night, 50 laps of Figure 8 action, all four NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Divisions and Dollar Beer on Labor Day Weekend. Race fans have their choice of Miller Lite, Coors Light, Summer Shandy, Killian’s or Miller Genuine Draft. Here for the Party Karaoke will provide entertainment well after the final checkered flag of the night has waved.
