LOVES PARK, IL (Tuesday, July 01, 2008) – Officials at both Jefferson (WI) Speedway and Rockford (IL) Speedway are gearing for the first ever Goodyear Stateline Challenge starting this Thursday night at Jefferson Speedway and concluding on Saturday night at Rockford Speedway.

This two-day event will feature the late model and sportsman drivers who compete weekly at each track.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, June 28, 2008) – Ricky Bilderback, Brock Behnke, David Lignell, and Dan DeKeyser not only beat the competition in their divisions, but also beat out Mother Nature on Windsor Auto Sales Night at Rockford Speedway. They were not the only winners as Brenton Garnhart from Belvidere, IL won a 2001 Saturn SL2.

LOVES PARK, IL (Friday, June 27, 2008) – The Saturday night racing excitement will be turned up to another level this Saturday night as Windsor Auto Sales will be giving away a 2001 Saturn SL2 car to one lucky fan in the stands.

The excitement will get underway at 7:07 pm with the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in action featuring the Stanley Steemer Late Models, Bargain Hunters Sportsman, Budweiser American Short Trackers, Coca-Cola RoadRunners and Stock Car Classics.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, June 21, 2008) – Jerry Gille’s consistency has put him on top of the point standings in the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Model standings. Tonight, he along with Doug Bennett, George Sparkman, and Joshua Lundy took him feature wins at Rockford Speedway.

Alex Papini was the early leader in the 30-lap feature event for the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models. Gille, who started seventh, quickly charged his way to the front as was up to third by lap 2 and second by lap 4.

Three Fun Events for Every Race Fan This Weekend

LOVES PARK, IL (Thursday, June 19, 2008) – It will be a busy weekend at the Rockford Speedway with three days of racing excitement. Three unique events will be featured this weekend.

On Friday, it’s the Annual Loves Park Police vs. Businessman Grudge Race starting at 7:07 pm.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, June 14, 2008) – A great crowd and a great field of cars were on hand for another exciting night of racing and a School Bus Jump at the Rockford Speedway. At the end of the night it was Tim Sargent, Chris Gantz, Gene Marocco, Jeff Myers and Jake Zellmer taking home feature wins.

Sargent grabbed the early lead in the 40-lap feature event for the 23 car feature field for the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, June 14, 2008) – Jefferson Speedway and Rockford Speedway officials are proud to announce that the first ever Goodyear Stateline Challenge will take place on Thursday, July 3 at Jefferson Speedway and Saturday, July 5 at Rockford Speedway. This two-track event will be a Late Model Invitational with a special overall point fund.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, June 07, 2008) – A great crowd was in attendance to witness the Kar Korner World Famous Trailer Race. Mother Nature delayed the start of the racing but in the end, it was Steve Rubeck, Fred Nason, Aaron Rude, and David Lignell taking home feature wins.

Rubeck and Noel Ramge battled for the lead in the early going of the 30-lap feature event. That was until the first caution flew when Matthew Clossey spun in turn four. Rubeck would have the lead on the re-start.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, May 31, 2008) - A great crowd was on hand to witness some of the best racing from all four divisions and a return appearance from the Devastator Monster Truck. At the end of the night, it was Ryan Carlson, Dave Edwards, George Sparkman and Terrance Robinson taking home feature wins.

A field of 21 cars took the green flag for the 40-lap feature event with Noel Ramge taking the early lead. Polesitter Mike Beyer got past Ramge for the lead on lap 7.
