LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, October 11, 2008) – It’s one of the more unique fall racing events in the Midwest as Rockford Speedway gets the 17th Annual Bahama Bracket Nationals underway. Over 170 cars are on hand to compete in the two day event.
It got underway on Saturday afternoon with qualifying. Tim Sargent set a fast time of 14.322 seconds with a total of 138 cars qualifying. Ed Klug set the fast time in the Hornet division with a time of 17.102 seconds, the best time out of 31 competitors.
