LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, April 25, 2009) – Due to inclement weather expected to continue throughout the evening, Rockford Speedway has cancelled its racing program for tonight. The 32nd annual Spring Classic, rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon after inclement weather postponed the event last weekend, will be ran as scheduled.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, April 25, 2009) – Despite Mother Nature’s best efforts, Rockford Speedway will be kicking off its historic 62nd season of racing action tonight at 7:07 p.m. The 32nd annual Spring Classic, which was rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon after inclement weather postponed the event last weekend, will also be ran as scheduled.

LOVES PARK, IL (Sunday, April 19, 2009) -- The 32nd annual Spring Classic scheduled for today at the Rockford Speedway has been postponed due to inclement weather that moved into the area earlier this morning. The event will now take place next Sunday, April 26th, and will feature the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet in their season-opening SPYDER 108 and the Mid-American Stock Car Series taking on the high-banked quarter-mile in a 50 lap bout.

Loves Park, IL (Tuesday, April 14, 2009) – Two-time defending Big 8 Series Champion Jeremy Miller, defending Spring Classic champion Michael Bilderback, two-time National Short Track Champion Jeremy Lepak, 2008 Big 8 Series Rookie of the Year Ross Kenseth, and the 2005 National Short Track Champion for the Big 8 Series, Tim Noble, have all entered the 32nd annual Spring Classic on Sunday afternoon April 19th at the Rockford Speedway.

LOVES PARK, IL (Tuesday, April 7, 2009) – Kyle Shear doesn’t shy away from speaking up or saying what he believes should be said, so when asked recently about the upcoming racing season he didn’t back down. “I want to win, both races and a championship.” Shear who will be attempting to qualify for both feature events during the 32nd annual Spring Classic at Rockford Speedway on Sunday afternoon April 19, is a proven winner.

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, September 27, 2008) – The Saturday night action at the Rockford Speedway was at a high at the 43rd Annual Army National Guard National Short Track Championships with Jon Reynolds Jr. having a Hollywood style finish to win the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet 108-lap feature event. Doug Bennett, Jim Tate Jr. and Pat Ecklund also took home wins.

LOVES PARK, IL (Sunday, April 13, 2008) – 16-year-old Michael Bilderback looked like a season veteran has he would go wire-to-wire and capture his second Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet feature win at the 31st Annual Spring Classic presented by Yellowbook at the Rockford Speedway. Matt Byrne would come home second with defending Big 8 Series Champion, Jeremy Miller in third.
