A tradition unlike any other returns this Saturday night June 9 to Rockford Speedway.
LPT Automotive presents the Original Trailer Race of Destruction! It’s the trend setter…often imitated and never duplicated! Cars, trucks and vans pulling boats, campers and travel trailers in a rolling demolition derby, with no winner ’til ‘the last trailer trails.’ The Original Trailer Race of Destruction is one of the biggest nights of the year at Rockford Speedway and you won’t want to miss it!
Original Trailer Race of Destruction Night is a big evening, filled with much more than just the motorized madness at the end of the night. Five divisions of racing are scheduled to take center stage, including the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsman, Miller Lite American Short Trackers, Kickstart Roadrunners and the T.E.D. Transit Bandits along with the Roadrunner Challenge ‘Hare & the Hound Race.’
Fans are encouraged to arrive at the track early and tailgate. Grandstands open at 5 PM, with Qualifying at 6 PM and the first race scheduled to start at 7:07 PM. After the races, fans are invited into the Pit Area to see their favorite race cars and meet the drivers. Plus there will be post race music in the Miller Lite Pavilion from “Rogue” beginning after the Trailer Race is complete.
