THE FIRST “KIDS NIGHT” OF THE YEAR IS THIS SATURDAY AT ROCKFORD SPEEDWAY

Bring the youngsters to the track this Saturday night!
Northwest Bank presents the first “Kids Night” of the summer this Saturday May 21 and there are plenty of treats in store for Kids this weekend.
All Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE on each of our Kids Nights this summer (May 21, June 25, July 23 and August 13) and this week, the first 500 kids through the gates receive a poster featuring the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models. It’s perfect for getting autographs and for hanging on your wall at home!
At intermission Saturday night, all Kids ages 11 and under will be allowed onto the track (along with a parent or guardian) to take part in the Northwest Bank Kids Coin Scramble. Kids will be separated into different age groups; coins will be spread on the ground and then it’s a gold rush for all kids!
Racing action includes the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsmen, Kickstart Bandits and the return of the Original Sixers! Plus, at the end of the night…the wild & crazy Bandit Figure 8!
Gates open at 5 PM, with Qualifying at 5:55 PM. Opening Ceremonies get underway at 6:55 and the Green Flag waves at 7:07 PM.
Adult admission is $15, Students (ages 12-17) are $13 and Kids 11 under are FREE.
After the races, make sure to hang around for the Post-Race Meet & Greet in the Pit Area! Fans of all ages will be able to take pictures, get autographs and get up close and personal with the stars of the show.

In just under one month, the annual “Cruise of Carnage” returns as LPT Auto presents The Original Trailer Race of Destruction Saturday night June 11! An event often imitated but NEVER duplicated, it’s a rolling demo derby featuring cars trucks and vans pulling boats, campers and travel trailers…with smashing bashing and crashing and no winner “til the last trailer trails!” Fans are encouraged to get their tickets in advance for this event by visiting rockfordspeedway.com or by calling the Rockford Speedway Box Office at 815 633 1500. Trailer Race Night also features the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Bargain Hunter Sportsmen, Kickstart Bandits & High School Racing plus the Hair & the Hound Challenge Race.
